Like most people in there I think - we had just fished the fjords boat ride. We were hungry and I had read the reviews and they we very good. We all had the moose burger and were not disappointed . It was excellent. It also came with a ton of fries.
There were also a selection of purchasing entire pies - I bought a raspberry one. It was good. It was not the type of crust i am used to, it took up "more space", but it was still really good and I enjoyed it. I would definitely eat here again!

We stopped at the snack shack for a quick lunch. I had the seafood chowder, which was tasty. I also had a delicious partridgeberry muffin.
My husband had the moose burger and moose soup. He said it was the best moose burger and moose soup he's ever had.
Clean restroom.

Moose burger!

We didn’t see a moose this trip, but we ate one. Very lean and tasty. Also enjoyed the cod nuggets. Fresh homemade raspberry pie was good.

Delicious Fresh Seafood and Chip Shack!
Excellent Moose burgers, Fish Cakes, Cod, Shrimp, and especially the Fries! It's like I've died and gone to seafood heaven!

An excellent stop on anyone's road trip! It's like your nanna is working there, the are friendly like family!

Fries are AWESOME!
Stopped by this place in Sally's Cove while travelling North on the beautiful Northern Peninsula. Had previously eaten here while it was a road side chip van. It has been moved into a roofed building, and it serves the most delicious home made fries with hamburger meat, dressing and gravy! You can eat outside on picnic tables, and there are also tables inside where you can get coffee, baked goods. Craft store on site has locally made product for sale.

Handy stop on the Viking Trail
We were travelling north on the 430, on our way to join the boat tour at Western Brook Pond, when we happened upon the Snack Shack. A no frills café with excellent coffee. We shared one of their excellent cinnamon buns. The friendly staff made our brief rest stop a pleasure.
